Professional, smooth, sexy, and rich warm tones
I have a warm, rich, and pleasing tone to my voice. I sound young and have no accent. My voice is on the deep side. My voice has been labeled relaxed and sexy by others who know talk to me on the phone or hear some of the work I have done to date.
My voice would be perfect for for corporate presentations, books on tape, promotional announcements, movie trailers, and commercials. I inherited my father’s voice. He was a professional actor (Bob Bailey) and was best known for his role as an Insurance Fraud Investigator on a radio show for CBS called "Yours Truly Johnny Dollar". Google “Bob Bailey Johnny Dollar” to take a listen to some of his broadcasts.
My father was professionally trained. He began his career when he was five years old in summer stock with my grandparents. However, I did inherit his vocal chords. You could say I have been blessed genetically.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
I do not specialize in any dialects, characterizations, or impersonations however, I have no accent whatsoever. Being born and raised in Los Angeles helped me in that regard. My diction, enunciation, and command of the English language is solid and above average. I can draw on some natural and trained acting ability to use whatever is needed in regards to jobs where a slight accent or certain dialect might be needed. I consider myself a quick study that way.
My Voice Experience
To date I have dome some voiceover work on videos for websites.
I was a professional musician for 15 years working as a drummer. I attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Hollywood for a year and do have some acting skills. I taught tap dancing at the Ebsen Dancing School in Pacific Palisades, California. I did some lead singing when I was in the music business.
My fifteen minutes of fame came when I was the drummer for The Hues Corporation of "Rock the Boat" fame. I am currently working as a webmaster and know how to edit video. My business partner and I do have a YouTube channel that shows some of the editing work we have done for various integrated marketing and web-related projects.
My Studio Equipment
I now have a studio in my home and also have access to professional state of the art studios at my disposal. I know how to use audio editing programs and use them in the videos I edit for various websites and the demos I have included on my profile page.
I have worked as a Musician, Extra, Actor, Private Detective, Dance Instructor, and now a Webmaster. I have a very good handle on computing skills. People say I should write a book about my life growing up and my career. The title I have in mind is “Hard Knocks and Dirty Socks”. Maybe someday I can include author to my list of career moves.
I grew up in Pacific Palisades, CA and there were a lot of people in the business living there. They were a live bunch I can tell you that! I had to move out of LA for my sanity and to escape the smog. Now, the trick is what to do with all of that life seasoning and training? I have always wanted to give voiceover work a serious whirl professionally. My family, friends, and business associates seem to think I have the voice and have been pressing me to get serious about it. This is my attempt to do just that and see where it takes me.
You might say I am doing this for my father and our family tradition. My grandparents were actors, my father was an actor, and now I think I will toss my hat in the ring. I think it would be great to carry on the family tradition and make a decent buck doing it.
The bottom line? (In addition, I am borrowing this from Annie Hall) I thought I would close this part of my profile with an old joke. You know, this guy goes to a psychiatrist and says, 'Doc, my brother's crazy, he thinks he's a chicken,' and the doctor says, 'well why don't you turn him in?' And the guy says, 'I would, but I need the eggs.' Well, I guess that's pretty much how I feel about taking chances in life. You know, they're totally irrational, crazy, and absurd but I guess I keep doing it...because...like most of us I need the eggs…
So that’s all the news that’s fit to print for now and I pray I can pass some auditions along the way...
