My Voice Experience
Having started in radio some decades back, and continuing in voiceover work after that, I've had a LOT of experience in different types of voice delivery. I've even done the "Billy Mays" type pitches for a product called Grease Mop. When I first got into radio, one of the commercial salesmen came up to me and asked if I would do a series of "trailers" for TV shows. Having never done anything like that, I decided it would be a good thing to add to my "repertoire". It turned out to be voicing trailers for the fedgling "Home Box Office" network. NOW, when I tell that story, if I don't say "HBO", nobody recognizes "Home Box Office"!!!
Attended college in Lafayette, La., to study Radio and TV broadcasting, and started in radio in the 70's. While working in radio, and continuing afterward, I've done numerous "production house" spots for various products. I'm also a singer/songwriter, which keeps the creative, emotional side of me "up and running", as well.

Having spent many years in radio and commercial production, and having been a singer/songwriter all my life, I bring creativity, professionalism, and fun to a project.
As a soul and blues singer,I've always been told that, though my voice, I can easily bring out the emotions of the words in the songs I've written.
And, being fortunate enough to have a clear, effective speaking voice, HOW many times have I answered the phone, only to have the caller pause until I say "Hello" a second time? Then, inevitably, they'll say "Sorry, I thought this was one of those answering machine voices...I was waiting to leave a message"!!
