My Voice Experience

I had a stint as a radio jock for NU107 circa 1993-1994. Aside from my nightly jocking duties of front and back selling artists, announcing promos and events, and talking about artists, I hosted a live show called Pinoy Rock Unplugged, featuring 12 local Pinoy rock artists, uncut and unedited through candid interviews and on the spot in studio jam sessions. Featured artists such as Grace Nono, The Dawn, Pepe Smith, Mike Hanopol, and the Eraserheads to name a few. My wife and I produced the show, and got SMB to be the lead sponsor. My radio career was cut short when my wife and I left for the states to have our 2nd child. When we returned in 95, I did several vo's jobs for BPI and AMA computer college, under the direction of Mr. Chris Michelena, formerly of MaCann Erickson and Ireland Bros. I left the VO industry to work for our family hotel seminar business in Tagaytay.

My Training

Community field reporter/studio reporter - "The New Philippine Reports" 1990-1992 - did voice overs and live reporting for community civic/social events for the Filipino community in Chicago, IL. Wrote all of the stories or pieces I reported on.

Earned a broadcasting diploma specializing in Radio and Television announcing from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting,Lombard, IL. 1991-1992. Aside from practicing our vocal delivery, we had many classes/workshops on writing ad copy for radio and TV commercials.

Did a 3 month internship for a cable sports show called "Bulls Beat" featuring Michael Jordan and the World Champion Chicago Bulls. The show producer, and myself as his assistant, did profiles on the players, covered weekly practice sessions, and interviewed the players before and after the games in the locker room.

stage actor for Repertory Philippines -" Prelude to a Kiss" the Priest 1992
My experience under the direction of the late Ms.Amador lead to a tv commercial in a lead role of a father with wife and children for CityTrust, under the direction of Mr. Leo Martinez.
