My Voice Experience
I spent a year in AM radio as a high school student and acquired my broadcaster's license from there. While stationed with the U.S. Army in Europe, I was accepted as a broadcaster for the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service based on my vocal abilities alone; but unfortunately was not transfered to the position. I've done some voice over work for local cable TV stations, and documentary work for a local non-profit organization, and some industrial video voice-over work. In all cases, I have received strong encouragement and compliment on my voice-over work.
As mentioned above, I spent two years in Radio Communications in High School, worked as a DJ on the school station, and earned my FCC broadcaster's license. While in the U.S. Army I worked as a tactical radio commuications specialist. While on duty in Europe, I interviewed for and was selected for a DJ position with Armed Forces Radio and Television Services; but was not transferred to the position. After service, I've worked extensively as a public speaker, musical/vocal performer, and as an actor in community theater. I've played roles ranging from a British Aristocrat to a gutsy Army Drill Seargent. I've done documentary voice-over for a local non-profit ministry that provided housing and support to homeless pregnant women, and voice over for industrial sales videos.
My Studio Equipment
I do not have my own studio, but I have access to a production studio owned by the company I worked for while doing industrial sales videos. I also have access to a local music recording studio that can produce broadcast quality voice-over, and deliver through email, FTP, or postal and deliver service in all standard formats.
I have extensive experience in meeting facilitation, public speaking - preaching, teaching, event Master of Ceremonies, theater work, and singing.
