My Voice Experience

My passion for speaking in different voices, imitating characters and not worrying about sounding like a silly cartoon probably came from all the cartoons/animations and video games I've watched and played through the years. My recording experience comes from recording music both professionally at studios and for experimental reasons at university as I did a music degree in university and I'm an active musician. I have not had my voice being used before in any video game, cartoon or advertisement as of yet but I can't wait to start!

My Training

I completed a BA in Music at University of Sussex (2010-2013) where I learned how to record both voice for singing and speech and music.

In summer 2014 I finished a teaching qualification through Middlesex University and I'm music teacher since.

I'm an active musician performing with various acts and an amateur at improv comedy.

My Studio Equipment

I have my own small home studio with the following equipment:

Logic Pro 9, Focusrite Forte (audio interface), AKG C214 condenser microphone and KRK Rokit 5 speakers.

I have studied sound engineering at university and can offer advanced editing to the voice-overs such as adding all sorts of effects and music.

Additional Skills

I am trilingual (Greek, French, English) from a very young age, have been raised in a very cosmopolitan environment which made me very familiar with a larger amounts of languages. For example I might not be able to speak Spanish at a proper conversation level, but I can sound deceivingly Spanish if I'm given a text to read or just repeating words and expressions.

At the moment I am a music teacher and a performing musician in a heavy metal band. Being a teacher has taught me to be very receptive to feedback and being patient, both skills I believe is valuable for voice actors, as the majority of the time we come up with ridiculous voices until we come up with the right one.
