My Voice Experience
Voice acting for me has been quite a journey. One of my first travels into voice acting was actually during an Oral Interpretation class I took while pursuing a Theatre Performance degree. In that class for the final project, a friend and I did a radio re-enactment of War of the World's which we recorded in the school's Mass Media Sound booth. My partner and I both did several of the voices and variations.
I've had extensive experience doing student commercials and audio plays. In 2009 I did the voiced role of Caldicott in an independent film called "Gretta's Woods." I also did additional voices for the movie.
In April 2010, I began taking lessons from Voice Coaches, a New York based Voice Over Training company. During the time that I was instructed there I put a lot of personal work into practicing hundreds of copy in different forms from general commercial, to character pieces, documentary style, and story-book narrations. After completing my training with Voice Coaches in July, I later performed the role of Herman in an Audio Drama called "Faces of the Death" working with Everlast Films.
