My Voice Experience

Radio Presenter - I have been a radio presenter in Cape Town since 2001. I worked at UCT Radio (Campus radio) for 6 years (During this time I hosted ALL the major shows on the station, including the Chart Show for a year and 3 years doing the Breakfast show).
I then moved onto Commercial radio, joining Good Hope FM in 2008 - At Good Hope FM I started on the Graveyard show, however, after 2 months I was offered the chance to host the Afternoon Drive which I duly accepted.
I left Good Hope FM in 2010 to join Heart 104.9fm. At my time there I hosted the Chart Show on Saturdays and the evening show (7-10pm) during the week.
During these years (2001-2011) I have voiced and produced numerous radio commercials.

My Training

Introduction to Radio Broadcasting course in 2004.
Was involved with teaching learners about radio in a Media school in 2008.

My Studio Equipment

Sound Proof voice booth with a Rode NT2-A Studio Microphone
connected to a Edirol UA25 external sound card. From there I use various editing software to arrive at the final product.
