My Voice Experience

As a radio professional for over two decades, I possess a trained voice that can translate well in many different arenas. I have been the "Sports Guy" at KFBK radio for 18 years and have represented and endorsed numerous major companies over the years. Among them, AAMCO, Shane Company Jewelers, KUNI Cadillac, Folsom Lake Ford, Pro Flowers, Red Hot Media Productions and many more. My extensive experience also includes narrations for training videos, instructional videos and numerous other video productions including the California Community College System. I was a finalist for an Emmy Award in 1989. First place winner in Butte County Excellence In Advertising Media. I began my radio and voice career in 1990 and am still going strong in the business. I also train others in voice work.

My Training

I possess my B.A. degree in Communication Arts & Technologies, with an emphasis on Instructional Technology. I have been voted "Best Radio Sportscaster" by the readers of Sacramento Magazine for three years running. My Associate of Arts degree was earned at Butte Community College where I was inducted into the Hall Of Fame and was named one of the "Most Outstanding Students". I do extensive emcee work for many non-profit organizations and was named one of Sacramento's Media Professionals of the year.

My Studio Equipment

I have a professional home studio and have access to professional equipment both through my work and through friends who provide private voice over talent. Equipment includes ISDN line, Matrix Unit, professional microphones and mixing boards. I use Adobe and Cool Edit.

Additional Skills

I have built my reputation not only in Sacramento, but in most of Northern California. My extensive work as an emcee, event host and television work with Fox 40 and KXTV has allowed my to refine my visual skills as well. Other experience includes numerous acting workshops and the training of numerous interns who have gone on to successful careers in many areas. My work includes numerous radio shows including San Francisco Forty Niners and Oakland Raiders pre and post game shows for top-rated radio stations KFBK and KSTE. Work includes news and sports anchoring from Chico to Modesto and I served as the main fill-in host for the Armstrong & Getty radio show in Sacramento and San Francisco. Currently serving as the Sports Director and Anchor for KFBK radio, KFIV radio and FOX 40.
