Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can perform dialects such as British, British RP, Southern, Southern Belle, and Irish. I can perform each of them in a natural sound, or a character sound that's exaggerated and fun. I have performed each of these in a theatrical stage setting, as well as in every day life to make things like grocery shopping more exciting.

My Voice Experience

My voice over experience is one that has a rather wide range from Robots to an Elementary school teacher. I recently performed in a show called Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson where I played the Female soloist, but I also had the chance to be a voice over robot character. The sexy robot comes into play when the evil backstabbing side of government is introduced. The ones who wanted Andrew Jackson to fail. I had a lot of fun recording this voice. It had a sense of seductive Jessica Rabbit meets C3PO. When I first started out with voice over acting I had the wonderful opportunity to record for my friends first feature film called Liars, Fires, and Bears. Which has since been shown at numerous film festivals in California. I was the elementary school teacher. It was one short scene, but it was very exciting and new to me. I am very thankful to have been a part of the production. I also created a demo reel with my voice over teacher Rayme Cornell. She helped me find varies material, anything from to a documentary of Theodora who ruled the Roman Empire. I have some exciting material under my belt, and I am very excited to add to it!

My Training

I have a B.A. in Theatre: Stage and Screen Acting. I had a semester the specified in voice over with Rayme Cornell, and I had Speech for the Actor training with Phil Hubbard. The training was Dudley Knight. I have also had voice over/ commercial training with Nate Bynum and Michael Tylo. I have recorded music for a short musical film called Love in Idleness, based on a Midsummer Night's Dream, and for the industrial rock band FOWL.

My Studio Equipment

I currently am working on expanding my studio, but for now it's simply a USB microphone, and garageband/FL Studio. Though I know there is much improvement needed, there is still a great deal of wonderful work that can be done with what I have. It's not the equipment… it's how you use it!

Additional Skills

I am an actor, singer, dancer with great knowledge of customer service and how to talk to people to calm them down or help them make the right decision about what to buy. I have had the opportunity to play a lot of great characters on the stage and on screen, and I am looking forward to taking the skills I have learned from that and translating it into my voice over work.
