Articulate, Character Voices, Radio DJ
My voice is very flexible; I spent seven years as a radio DJ broadcasting a few different styles of music, which required different intonations and inflections depending on format. I also am known to do various accents (British or Irish mostly) and cartoon-type voices. My natural voice is more warm and deep, good for radio and narrations, but I can also do higher pitched voices for effect.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Some ways I can use my voice: Australian, British, and Irish accents, cartoon-type voices, imitations of certain television or cartoon characters, raspy old men, vampires and other monsters, men's voices in all types of ranges (high pitched nerdy, to deep sexy Barry White-type), drunk people, etc. I also sing.
My Voice Experience
I have a great deal of experience with voice work. I started with college, doing on-air DJ work as well as narration for projects; I also produced a radio news feature on presidential elections, featuring live interviews with fellow students and selection of various pieces of background music. While in the radio industry professionally, I talked on air for my shift and then did a lot of production work and commercials; everything from smooth and professional 30 or 60 second spots for car dealerships to wacky and fun commercials for bars and restaurants. I now do a radio shift on the Berklee College of Music's internet radio station while enrolled there, and have conducted and produced a two hour interview with famous bass player Marcus Miller.
I began doing voice over work in college, starting my Mass Communications degree and working in the school radio station and doing various projects that involved narration. When I was in radio professionally after graduation, I did everything from on-air broadcasts to complete commercial productions, including voice, music, and sound effects. I am currently enrolled at the Berklee College of Music, where I have not only done other voices and narrations for fellow student's projects, but have sung on various recordings as well.
My Studio Equipment
I currently run a Pro Tools-based setup in my home, running through a Digi 002 Rack Unit into an Apple computer. I can record into Pro Tools, Logic, or Garageband and edit accordingly. To record my voice, I usually utilize an AKG-414 condenser microphone.
In addition to the above-mentioned skills, I also have training in recording engineering, as I spent a year at a school learning studio techniques and methods. I also am skilled at copywriting and correction, which I had to do quite often in school and on the job while in the radio industry.
