Mark Kovar

textured, friendly, intelligent, versatile

Voice Description

versatile and textured. I can be friendly or authoritative. I'm a natural at Promos, Trailers, Radio stabs, and such. I'm 45, but I can play 30-60 yrs. I've done a lot of technical narration, and have no problem reading the tricky multisyllabic jargon. I do characters as well, including: alien, cowboy, surfer dude, nasal guy, capn Kirk, capn Picard, beavis, butthead, and more. I've been playing guitar and singing since age 9, so singing in character comes naturally. here are some links to enjoy.

My Voice Experience

I started out singing and playing music at a young age. Being in the studio doing music lead me into film and video post production. I had a few years behind the console recording and observing amazing talents like Don Lafontaine, Charlie Adler, Ben Kingsley, Patrick Stewart and more. Spending time with real pros helped me with my approach to voice over immensely as I witnessed a variety of talent doing a variety of jobs. I hope we can make a connection and help each other achieve our goals. best, MK
