Voice Description

I am an impressionist both in singing and regular voice... I have the ability to get ANY voice within my vocal range down within one week.... I have a system of practicing that all of my other acquaintances in the biz that do voices don't utilize and I don't tell them... hehe.... It makes my impressions that much more dead-on! Give a listen and you'll see you cannot hear MY voice in my best impressions!

Bush, Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan, Mickey Mouse, Elmo... I'll list more as I remember them!

My Voice Experience

I have the experience and know-how to do a complete voiceover project from the ground up...

I did 7 Voices on the cartoon series Dragon Ball Z from 1999-2001. I had my own radio show in Salt Lake City in 2002, but gave it up to go back to my first love, stand-up comedy.... You might have heard my voice on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom morning radio show, where I'm known for my impression of Arnold as Jesus... or perhaps as a "favorite" RawDog Comedy Channel on Sirius Satellite.

From 2003 to 2008 I co-wrote (just two of us), voiced, recorded AND edited a 6 HOUR and 4 HOUR course for an online comedy defensive driving school....

My Training

Uh... you don't really need a degree to do this stuff... Just a lil' bit of talent, personality, and drive. I went to the University of Texas (Austin) for two and a half years as a "Radio, Television, and Film" major. I decided to bail and get my education first hand at the hard knocks school of Live touring stand-up... on the road touring nationally as a stand-up comedian (twenty years).

My Studio Equipment

Voiceovers recorded in a sound proof room with a portable Tascam and Shure 58a Omnidirectional Microphone direct to digital media... it is then dumped into a Quad processor PC and edited releveled and mixed with Cool Edit Pro...

Additional Skills

Best way to see if we jibe for the project is to call.

But, here's my work ethic in my speak:

NO EGOS here... I just turned down a $4000 voiceover gig having to do with the Golf Channel, because... I don't know anything about GOLF!... They insisted I look it over for a couple of days and I just couldn't see what funny I could add to golf! Although, I really needed the money, I politely bowed down. I KNOW MY LIMITS and it would have done us BOTH a disservice for me to have taken the gig... I should be doing your project if I am not 100% gung-ho ninja forced toward it... I don't do gigs for money, I do them for the I take your gig because I feel I'm the best person for it. I HAVE NO PROBLEM knowing my limits and I ONLY want jobs I am right for as well!

Creativity and funny ARE MY GIG, Ninja!... Allow me to bring the funny and the voices, while you bring in the big bucks! I don't go to your job and try to CEO for a day, so take your mind off the voices and the funny... C'mon, hand them over... step away from the script... hand it over... there... don't that feel better?
