My Voice Experience
I'm the voice of the Modern Mom. I am calm, cool and collected. The mom with a practical sense of style. The one who is always on top of things... but I can also be busy, frazzled, at the end of my wits. Depends on what your voiceover needs.
A warm, conversational, believable, friendly, sometimes sophisticated, always down-to-earth voice. And every modern mom should be able to deliver sultry.
For over 19 years, I have lived a large part of my life in the studio as a Voiceover Artist. A professionally-trained actor, I earned my stripes first as a stage actor, touring with a professional theater company, then as half of a storytelling duo.
After juggling time between studio and stage, I went exclusively free-lance, built a studio and became my own boss…well, actually, I report to you.

My Training
I graduated from Whitworth University with a BA in Theater and an emphasis in Voice. Following college, I toured with a St. Paul, MN-based theater company. After coming off tour, I launched UpStart Productions at the age of 24 and began my voice-over career. For 3 years, I toured the U.S. Northwest as a professional actor and storyteller.
These days, I am exclusively a free-lance Voice Actor and Coach, Storyteller and Writer.
Experience counts for something in this business. It cultivates versatility. Hones creativity. And refines efficiency. All of which I will gladly put to work for you.

Additional Skills
"I began life as a storyteller. By Kindergarten I went on the road (to the older grades) with my own version of Noah’s Ark. Many, many stories later I spent three wonderful years in Tellers Two, a storytelling duo that toured the Pacific Northwest. To this day, writing original material for live performance stokes my creative fires.
"One of my greatest strengths is writing for the spoken word. And since I am happiest with multiple irons in the fire, I write everything from commercials to radio features, promotional DVDs to documentaries. Makes me a better Voice Talent too."
