My Voice Experience
Currently, I have not completed or been paid for any voice-over work. I plan on attending as many workshops as I can afford and finding personal projects to complete.
Most of my voice experience comes from theater and stage acting. I learned to control my voice at an early age when I participated in class plays and impersonated most everything on television I watched.
My voice performing has is probably my strongest characteristic of my performing. I perform regularly without mics and as a result, have had to learn to keep my voice healthy, strong, and with character to remain interesting. The animated characteristics of my voice have been honed by my decade of experience with entertaining children.
I practice my voice lessons several times a day, and constantly read books aloud.
My Studio Equipment
I have a multi-mixer digital recorder, omni-directional XLR condenser mic/pop filter, and basic recording software.
Beat-boxing (mouth music) has given me some powerful ranges with sound effects and emoting "onomatopoeia-like" reactions with cartoon characters. Also as a result, I know how to control the pops and clicks of my saliva along with my use of pectin drops and apples.
