Warm, mellow, strong, intelligent
I have a strong, mellow voice with a nice deep resonance that is both rich and warm. I love getting into character. My strong suits are animation/characters and commercials. I also do narration.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Accents: Southern is always a favorite.
Some of my characters are:
Professor Fuddy Duddy - older, insecure gentleman and academic nerd. Could also be a shy, geeky kid in school.
Grumpy New Yorker - middle-aged/older man with a NY accent who is flabbergasted and panicked much of the time.
Redneck - high-pitched southern yahoo; Blake Shelton's older cousin.
1960s Announcer - the classic overly dramatic game show host with a smile you can see and hear.
Mr. Squeaky - the protagonist's friend who's worried and exasperated.
Mrs. Merriweather - the low-pitched, creepy man-woman who is reassuring in an odd and unsettling way.
High School Coach - the brother of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer's flying coach
Raspy Gangster - the older Italian hit man whose voice is a loud and urgent whisper
Old New York Lady - the husky-voiced Jewish woman who lives in Manhattan
Folksy Country - the male version of Reba McEntire (with a little Alan Jackson too).
Sexy Man - low-pitched and enticing, this guy knows he's cool - and has the rap to prove it.
I wrote all of the copy for these characters myself.

I am very outgoing and personal. But I can also be pensive and reflective.
I love sports, drama, movies, and musical theater. I was in the Navy for 20 years (aviation) so I understand the military/government culture and environment.
I was a professional speech writer for 10 years so I know good copy when I se it, and how to edit copy that needs improvement. I love words and the emotions they evoke.
