Character, bad guy, accents, guy next door, silly
My voice can be anything at any time.
It ranges from warm and sultry, to sexy and charming.
My voice can be the average guy about town to the
psycho in the basement.
I've always had the most fun being the calm, reserved,
confident bad guy voice (they have the best lines).
I love to do impersonations. My impressions can go
anywhere from Jackie Gleason to Bernie Mac.
My octaves tend to take a deep turn into sultryville,
as well as seductive town.
And when life has you down, my voice tends to calm even
the most savage of days.

My Voice Experience

While working in the video game industry, I got into
sound editing. When you first get into sound editing,
they start you off in the voice over department.
Sometimes, we'd get the characters and I would look at
them and just start talking. Most of the time it would
end up being me who the actors would model the final voice characterization off of.
Sometimes a character would come along that no one else
fit the bill for, except me.
So that meant sometimes it was me that sat in the studio, adjusting the mic, reading the script.
My training is hands on.
I have used Pro Tools and Sound Forge.
Worked in the video game industry for over ten years.
I've been doing voices all of my life.
It's in my genetic make-up.
My Studio Equipment
I have access to a Mac G-5 with Pro Tools, Reason, Sound
Forge, and Final Cut.
I am a huge fan of all that is animation from all corners
of the world, so I am drenched in constant voice impersonations!
I also am (and always will be) a gamer.
And the bigger these games get, the more story driven,
then the more they will need characters, personified.
