My Voice Experience

At the age of 7 I entered the Pound-Puppy cartoon voice over competition at the local mall. It was my childhood dream to be the voice of a cartoon character. Sadly, I did not win the grand prize however, I did earn audience favorite and let me tell you, Silver Spring, MD mall patrons are among the most discerning when it comes to good voices!

Later, I became heavily involved in theater and, every summer (1993-1996) toured throughout Ontario, Canada with a company performing the musical hit, Pump Boys and Dinettes. We performed in several resorts every summer and I was able to use my earnings to finance my education.

In 1999 I entered a Masters of Music program with a focus in vocal performance at the Catholic University of America. Upon graduation I sang in Athens (Greece), Iowa, Alaska, South Carolina, Georgia and New York. I sang professionally in 6 different languages for over 10 years.

In 2012, I stopped singing (due to the downturn in the economy) and began working in television production. People learned that I was a singer and asked me to do voice overs for their small projects. I am now the sole female voice for Discovery Studio's development projects. I'm
