My Voice Experience

When I was younger I was very curious as to who the man on the radio was, where he came from, and why he always sounded so serious. I always thought that he lived inside that little box, until a day came when the school arranged a day trip to our local radio station. I was so amazed at that time that the radio guy was actually a real man and not really living inside the radio.
We learnt during that day that our school wanted to start their own radio show for young people, and were in the process of creating a mini studio. I was the first person to sign up and couldn't wait for the world to hear my voice.
I was lucky enough to be one of the selected talkers, reading books and comics to other children in the school.
Of course as we grow up our interests shift in multiple directions and some of us also have no choice but to move town, city or country when the wind changes.
Many years later, after further study, employment and head banging I decided to start a new career as a Freelancer.
In the first 2 years I had stuck to what my further studies, IT, Web building and things nearly 80% of the population do today, not thinking that Voice Over and Narration would be a great Freelancer way of life.
2 years later I was asked if I could provide narrated IT training's, of course this sparked my child hood memory and interest!
