Additional Skills

◊ D.J. for private parties & weddings, 1980 – present.

◊ Comedian, 1984 - present (selected highlights):

° Headliner, National Association of Fleet Administrators Annual Banquet, 1989.
° Appearances at the Ad-Lib, Giggles Comedy Club, the Raindancer, and Swannie’s Comedy Underground, 1986 – present. {Sometimes appeared under the pseudonym ‘Jack Curtis’.}

◊ Master of Ceremonies for a variety of events
(selected highlights):

° M.C. & Vocalist for the ‘Karaoke Lounge’ at the Adobe Systems Employee Holiday Party, held at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center on December 9th, 2000. Entertained hundreds of partygoers with my stirring renditions of Neil Diamond and Creed selections, and then got them into the show. As the Producer, assembled the largest Karaoke show ever staged in Seattle (to this point in time), featuring two professional female lead vocalists. I worked with a (non-singing) D.J./M.C./Engineer to host the proceedings. We had a separate rehearsal system for guests to select and preview the songs they would be performing, and we offered on-site CD recording of their performances.

° M.C. for Billiard Champion Dave Pearson’s Speed Pool appearance at the Seattle Home Show II, on October 14th, 2000. I got the Stadium Exhibition Center crowd fired up, helping Dave to get pumped as he attempted to set a world Speed Pool record for clearing two tables at once – which he did – unofficially. I pulled this gig off despite getting a flat tire on the way to the show.
