My Voice Experience

I believe the best example of my vocal range is from when I was in the stage production of Sleuth, where I played two characters, a swarthy British playboy and an old English inspector. There were audible gasps each night of the production when it was revealed that the two characters were portrayed by one individual.

Other vocal experience I have had is as follows:

Sears radio ad (local)was recorded recently for a sale this weekend.

As a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force I do a lot of instructive and persuasive public speaking. My audiences range from subordinates to the very top of my chain of command. I convey confidence and competence without exception.

Missionary experience further built my ability to draw in and teach individuals and large groups.

My Training

I have military training on how to present to any audience. I have looked into the eyes of some of the most intimidating men on this planet and presented solidly. I not only justified my existence to them, but the time of theirs that I was taking up.

I went to a two month specialized school in preparation for my work as a missionary. I learned to speak and teach in Spanish.

My father is an English major, a technical writer, and an assistant speech pathologist -- so every day of my life was a day of locution and elocution training.

My Studio Equipment

I use Audacity which also my to use my standard unidirectional microphone to create clear recordings. This is the set up that I used for my recent Sears radio commercial.
