My Voice Experience

Recently recorded narration for educational website. Have done animated voices for pilot presentation, business industrial voice overs for major companies via my on-camera agent. Hosted a talk radio show for a year in Las Vegas, NV.

My Training

Recent voice over class at Bosco Productions (Chicago, IL) with Kordt Larsen. Have studied acting professionally since 2000 with classes at Acting Studio Chicago, Act One Studios (Chicago), the Second City (for whom I performed in various capacities for several years), iO Chicago, the Playground Theatee, and Artistic New Directions (New York). Took a voice workshop with Wenndy MacKenzie via Artistic New Directions. I also write/perform and record original music (acoustic rock), and have studied singing with private instructors in Chicago. College training includes several classes in acting and improv training at Boston College and Boston University, including a summer in Dublin, Ireland, at the Abbey Theatre.

Can record demos at home. Have an interface and condenser mic with appropriate stands/cables.

Additional Skills

I write and record original music, acoustic rock that is often comedic. I also play guitar and some piano. I did improv and sketch comedy professionally for 7 years in various capacities with the Second City (Chicago, Las Vegas, and at sea). For a few years I worked behind the scenes on narration projects for a major educational publisher, handling the audio portion of a line of textbooks, on the editorial/interactive end. My on-camera experience includes commercials, industrials and some television.
