Helen Bryant

Female, Warm, Berkshire, Low-Pitch, Well-Modulated

Voice Description

I could do warm and deep if needed, I could do sexy and flirty, or sexy and naughty if required!

I have done a spoof documentary voice-over so had to sound as if I were on the television - it was quite hard not to laugh as the script was so daft, but I managed!

My Voice Experience

I haven't had much experience, but I did, as I mentioned above, do a voice-over for a spoof documentary, entitled, believe it or not "When Toast Attacks"...

It was great fun.

It was part of a show I did at the Orpheus Centre in Comedy Week: http://www.orpheus.org.uk/

One of the tutors was Robin Ince, and as he's a friend I'm sure he'd vouch for me! http://robinince.com/

I am a member of Spotlight on Diversity; we are a small community group - "Championing Diversity Through Theatre".

My Training

I have several certificates from courses from The Orpheus Centre, including stand-up comedy - see above.

I have written some material as part of these courses, and also for Spotlight on Diversity.

Additional Skills

I am a wheelchair user but I don't let this hold me back, if possible.

Soon I will be participating in a clowning workshop with Spotlight on Diversity.

I am an actor (when I am cast!) and really enjoy that - I have played many interesting characters, including Her Majesty The Queen!

I am very good at impressions and they are, I'm told, very accurate. I'm especially good at doing impressions of men...

My favourite impressions currently are of Richard Dreyfuss (although I need to practice) and David Tennant (both his native Scottish brogue and The Doctor).
