Multi-Talented Voice for just about everything!
I categorize myself as “A multi-talented voice for just about everything”, and for a few exceptions, its spot on.
To begin with, I have a wealth of original and classic characters (see my voice123 website) that can be utiliized for animation projects of all kinds as well as commercials, corporate branding ventures, films, etc.
For narrations, my voice is warm and friendly. However, I am able to deliver many variations for English reads (e.g., southern or deep southwestern or Brooklynese for North American, various British and Australian accents).
For presentations, my voice is smooth and professional.
The sky’s the limit for commercials.
Plus, I am able to create a voice for a project that reflects the desired need for the client.

As a young man in the early ‘70’s, I was fascinated with news broadcasting.
Knowing this, my folks presented me with a small 13” B&W TV set and a ‘new’ portable cassette recorder.
With that, I began to watch Walter Cronkite every weekday evening.
As the oldest, I had the fortune of being given the basement bedroom with adjoining toilet that was private and quiet from the noisy distractions of my two younger sisters. This ancient forerunner of today’s “Man Cave” enabled me to spend hours in the bathroom recording myself imitating my new found mentor Walter Cronkite.
My sophomore year in High School afforded me my first break. A local news radio outlet in Woodbridge,VA (my new home after spending my formative years in Brooklyn, NY) broadcast weekly 5 minute broadcasts on news from the five area High Schools.
I was tapped for the assignment by our Principle and was grateful for it because it launched my career in voice production.
From my sophomore year at York College in Pennsylvania to my Senior year (my degree was in Speech Communications) I was afforded the post of weekend news/sports anchor. I didn’t rip & read but wrote all of my own copy on an old manual typewriter using old carbon paper for my scripts.
I was also elected president of York College’s Debate Team 1980 – 1981 and placed 2nd in the national Pro’s & Poetry tournament held at Ohio State University in 1981.
Besides the excellent training I received at College, I have to admit I am self-trained….
