foreign accents, multiple characters, narration
Ever since I could talk, I have been doing impersonations of anyone I heard. I speak English as a first language, but am fluent in Russian and German as well. I can do foreign accents of people from different countries. I do British, Australian, Irish, German, Swedish, Russian, Mexican, Italian, Vietnamese, and French accents. I do Southern US, Northeastern (Boston, New York), and California dialects. My voice ranges from baritone to tenor for added diversity. Famous impersonations I can do include Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, James Earl Jones, Rodney Dangerfield.

My Voice Experience
I have been working on developing my voice for recording for most of my life. I have experience acting. I was in my college's major theatrical production entitled "The first 100 years are always the hardest" and participated in short theatrical pieces as a staff player at the summer camp where I worked. I teach English for international students and constantly develop my dramatic and impersonation skills in the classroom. I have recorded test scripts for testing listening comprehension.
My training beyond foreign language study is limited. I have taken acting classes in high school and university. Took Speech Communications course in university. I read extensively on the subject of recording, studio design, sound, etc.
My Studio Equipment
In my personal studio I use an M-Audio Fast Track Pro to record on my PC. I've got a pop filter on my vertically mounted microphone (I have access to several for different purposes.)
I have lived in Austria and Russia, so I am used to learning as I go and adapting to new situations and settings. My MA is in Applied Linguistics, so I have a good understanding of a number of different languages--the rules of the sound system, grammar and so on. As an English as a Second Language teacher, I have been exposed to accents from all over the world, which has enhanced my grasp of diverse accents.
