Tenor-bass, Character, accents, many personalities
My natural voice is a Mid Tenor range. Calm and honest. I realized imitating various accents and voices is similar to singing. When I learn a new accent, I practice it like I'm learning a new song. The rhythm and cadence is important. In the winter I play Santa Claus and use my array of voices to win over frightened children. I constantly get asked if I do voice over work or if I'd ever thought about being a DJ. So, not having an agent or being in a union, I decided to take a step.

I have been in Choir and Chorus my entire life. My vocal range is 1st & 2nd tenor, baritone to 1st Bass. I sang in Count Basie Theatre, Red Bank, NJ in Nancy Schaff's 2009 Christmas Concert. I have a BS in Graphic Design/Visual Art. I worked with Professor Matt Brandt's musical theatre group at the University of Bridgeport, on The works of Jacques Brel and Three Penny Opera.
My Studio Equipment
I use Audacity software in my home studio. I often use the sounds of chirping birds as a watermark, just barely audible, but I usually remember to add it. I moved to thr Raleigh/Durham Triangle of NC.
I play some guitar, I've portrayed an Angel for the King's Players production of Devil or Angel. I read the newspaper for my grandmother when she lost her sight. My children preferred me to read to them over my wife,"because Daddy does the voices." I have, and still work in customer service for a box company since 1995. I am on the phone everyday, using my voice to calm irate customers, a skill held and learned over 17 years.
