Deep,warm, goofy,character voices, IVR,announcer
All my life people have asked me if I've ever done radio or done voice overs for commercials. I suppose everyone has that claim on this website : )
I have been likened to having the same deep bass tone as Mike Rowe or Don LaFontaine. I have done some acting in my youth and am a regular speaker at conferences and events so live performances or working in front of a crowd is not a problem.
Naturally gregarious with a deep smooth tone. I have IVR experience. I can sound, and even look like an aging Ryan Seacrest.
Hey, just give me a script and let's see what happens.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Born and raised the first 30 years in the midwest so I have no regional dialect in my normal conversational voice, living in the south for the last 10 years I can pull off southern accents both Texas and deep south i.e Mississippi, speaking like a flaming gay guy is always fun...with a deep voice, I am good at articulating or enunciating words like the "Master Thespian" from SNL.
My Voice Experience
I am very quick witted and goofy which has added to all the comments on how I should be doing voice overs or radio commercials. I definitely have a face for radio! The only "professional" voice work I've done is as the voice for a phone company in the early 1990's. All other voice work has been just to be the life of the party and as a source of entertainment for my 2 kids.. I own a very successful marketing agency and don't NEED the work so this is strictly as a hobby for me. Since everyone I know tells me my voice is perfect for this, combined with my apparent bend to 'enjoy listening to myself talk all the time', makes me a great fit for this type of work.
I'm a professional speaker for conferences and seminars..
I've recorded numerous voice mail greetings.
Owning a marketing agency allows me access to studio equipment if necessary.
