My Voice Experience

I've been voice acting for most of my life, although I didn't realize it until recently. As far back as the age of five, I remember standing on a fireplace hearth, telling jokes to my family. Naturally, at school I was the class clown, always doing imitations and funny voices for the approval of my peers. One day, I came across an old cassette recorder and started putting together my own radio shows filled with every imitation, accent and silly voice that came to mind. It was a great way to entertain my friends and at home it was a similar story; I'd write down scripts from movies and recite the different parts. In my teenage years, I began making my own films within the world of video games, using my voice for every character.

I've always been a fan of animation, video games and the depth which great voice acting adds to its characters, but it was only a few years ago that I was made aware of the talent behind it. Voice acting was something I'd already been practicing for years in my spare time, and it was something I just plain loved doing. Immediately after this revelation, I began training and working for independent productions around the world, the most notable of which is probably "Interesting NPCs", a user-made modification of the video game "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim". I've played everything from a dignified policeman to a slimy bandit, although I am often called on for the smooth, calming tone I can lend to narration. One of my favorite roles was playing a school principal gradually turning into an inhuman monster.

Growing up, I was always told to use my natural talents, and I believe voice acting is mine. Now I want to share my talent with the world.
