Middle aged Male, Confident, to the point
My narrator's voice can be deep and foreboding to friendly and confident, but always very smooth. I naturally sound like a 30 something male and can effectively produce older, trusted men. I love to let my wit and wry sense of humour flow - and I always stay in touch with the "kid in me". Character voices are fun for me and it shines through in my work.

My Home Base
Portland, Oregon, United States
Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
I am comfortable with many dialects, especially from the U.S., England, and Ireland.
There is the "In a town.." Movie Narrator, the "Good, wholesome, and affordable..." Mid-Western Farmer, the "Clueless American Male...Dude!", The "Hard Nosed Boss from Hell...D.F.T.U.!", the "Drifting Grandpa", the "Trusted Friend / Neighbor guy", the "husband who knows when to defer to his wife fellow", Character voices from "left field (AKA my brain)".
My Voice Experience
I've been a performer since I was 10 years old. I never stopped imitating and emulating. I started my first band at 14 and played live for 30 years, always the singer / front man. A family friend got me my first voice talent job, playing the Captain of a Inter-stellar space shuttle to the future, for the opening of the new OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. I also (with the help of FX), played the female robot flight attendant! I've presented projects, and recorded greetings, wrote songs, and generally entertained most of my life. I've tried to stop...but I can't!
In my twenties I attended Computer Career Institute in Portland, Oregon and started my career in the high tech industry. During that period I did some acting in the local Columbia Theater and was cast on my first ever audition as a retired detective. It was the voice that they liked; the mullet and thick "Magnum P.I." mustache I donned just didn't quite fit the character. I attended Voice Over training at Rose City Talent, a school that no longer is listed. I attended Clark Community College in Vancouver; my main focus being creative fiction writing.
My Studio Equipment
I record from home with my Samsung touch-screen desktop, with Core i3 processor. My microphone is a USB Blue "Yeti" which can record in 4 different modes including Cardioid which is what I would normally use for Voice Over work. My monitors are Harman/Kardon. I have several recording programs, but I currently use Audacity. I use Acoustic Foam Blade tiles.
I am diligent and timely. I have fun in everything I do. I am ready to work. I'm also a pretty nice guy :)
