Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Winston Churchill, David Brinkley and Franklin Roosevelt. (Working on Abba Eban) First three are in my demos.
Have thought that David Brinkley is greatest speaker of North American English I have heard. JFK close, but, sorry, not quite there. A bit of DB always in my voice.

My Voice Experience

Was part of a weekly discussion group that appeared on AM radio WAVI in Dayton. Ohio in 1966 and 1967. The show was called "Holy Smoke" and the moderator was Greg Wallace. Was RC priest until Nov, 1967. For half a century people have said "You should be on the radio." Well, I am now, but enjoy the voice-over gig.

My Training

Am reader for Owl radio in San Antonio. Accustomed to public speaking.

My Studio Equipment

Have Samson mike and 32-bit pc. Have equipment recommended by Voice123. I have used a local recording studio, KHM. Have access to broadcasting equipment in San Antonio.

Additional Skills

Have been associated with the automotive, copying and sales fields all my life. Can't believe how much better the current Malibu (compared to competition) is than the 1988 Chevrolet. Worked for an incentive company. Owned a copying company for nineteen years. Built two car washes. One was a great success. Other an utter failure. (Full disclosure!)
Work now for Avis Car Rental. ("We Try Harder") Favorite cars there are the Kia Soul and the car mentioned above.
Am probably wacko re cars. Whole family (just the males) are also. Brother owns 27 Oldsmobiles.
As a priest, was accustomed to public speaking.
No memorized sermon. No reading. Occasional notes.
