Funny, comedy, reliable, intelligent, friendly
I grew up in Sheffield and Cheshire and have lived abroad for the last 15 years, so my accent is fairly neutral English with a slight northern hint. I can do down to earth bloke, warm and deep intelligent newsreader, high-pitched exaggerated cartoon characters, husky smoker, all sorts.

My Voice Experience
I could've been a contender. I worked for Fox Television between 2008 and 2010 developing a new animated sitcom called The Company, in which I voiced the main character (Marcel), a young, frustrated office employee with a voice that expressed his ever-spiralling bafflement and frustration (and ill-concealed crush on his co-worker Angela), plus a variety of secondary characters, my favourite of which was Mr. Marlborough, a chain-smoking husky-voiced parody of Jack Donaghy, and various old women who sounded like they'd walked in off a Monty Python film. I was also scriptwriter, voice director and general dogsbody. The series was shelved in 2010 after we'd made 5 episodes, due to budget cuts.
Since then I've done various educational tapes and exam practice for English learners (I'm particularly proud of my "Timmy", a 12-year old boy saving up to buy a bicycle, and my "wise father", giving warm and deep advice to these youngsters from the fireside warmth and depth of his study.
I've also done adverts for Rexona/Sure, a Colombian radio program and all kinds of jobs where I turn up and read a text and who knows what it's used for after!
No formal training, many hours spent listening to Peep Show and Monty Python and The Trip and copying the voices. I've had some acting classes, though not enough to fill a day.
My professional training is as a translator (Dip Trans IOL) and it was in my training as an interpreter that I really began to modulate my voice and understand how it could be changed and modified, and this has stood me well as a voiceover actor. I am also a published author (google "Colectivaizeishon") and did two years of stand-up comedy in English and Spanish, which I recently quit to concentrate on the writing. I speak Spanish fluently, and French less fluently.
I can give you a list of at least 5 people who have politely complimented me on my impersonations. Ronnie Corbett a personal favourite.
My Studio Equipment
I don't have my own studio, but a close friend and neighbour who does. I can provide this info on request.
I'm very professional and punctual. I get stuff right first time. I don't like wasting people's time. I make a good cup of tea and a fine omelette. I play piano, guitar and any other similar-looking instrument. I can sing.
