My Voice Experience

I started in 2005 when I was the voice of my local movie theaters movifone. Since then I have dived head on since moving to New York. I have done some narration for some videos, recorded audio dramas for sounds students at NYU and have just taken on a part for my first animated film. Overall I would say it is a pretty good start.

My Training

I attended the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and earned my degree in Fine and Perfoming Arts and enrolled in every acting class I could while also taking singing lessons. After graduation I went to Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts where I trained in the Linklater vocal progression. I took a few classes with Lau Lapides at her studio in Wellsley, Massachusetts as an introduction to voice over work. In New York I am currently taking acting classes at The Barrow Group in Midtown and really learning the technique of "less is more".

My Studio Equipment

I currently have Blue Yeti microphone which is hooked up to my computer. I record and edit with audacity. I am soon going to purchase a Pop Filter and learn to work with other audio editing software.

Additional Skills

I have extensive experience as an actor, especially with classic texts in addition to contemporary. I have also been a education artist for the last 4 years. I am also an incredibly quick learner and dedicated to this new passion of mine.
