My Voice Experience

Last year I was reading over Elaine Clark's website about voice overs or voice-one training and I wanted to participate for such a long time. I was learning little by little about voice one but I never got the chance to start something new. It was pretty interesting learning from Elaine Clark's voice one website so I m still learning about it. This would be a beginning for me to finally bring out my voice but in a different scenario which that does include voice over guide online is just something I never though you could work on-online. I had No experiences but I've read and learned about voice overs by Elaine Clark's and now this site. Its pretty interesting. Just the thought about bringing out your voice from home or at different places. I get a lot of compliments from people saying that I have a really nice voice and they would ask me If I sing. Lol. Well I did join choir for a quite a few years in school and in church as a soprano singer in choir with my group. People would tell me how loud my voice is and that I should be an actress or go out there and sing but really, most often I would just sit in my room and sing to myself or I would stare at the mirror and act to myself and think, if people are right about how beautiful my voice is then I should show it off but I would ask myself HOW? And so I nervously looked up about voices and ran into quite a few websites like Nancy Hayes Studio, Elaine Clark s and then voice over guide and thought I want to have an experience. This is my chance to finally do something for myself and show off my voice because most times I do talk a lot and yell or whisper and my friends would tell me that I m still loud when I whisper. It's like I don't know how to keep my voice down. I have most guys tell me too that I have a beautiful voice but man my boyfriend gets jealous so easily that all he wants for me to do is stay at home and he d spoils me like a little girl and does not want me to say a word to any guys, just him. I remember scheduling an appointment last year for voice training class where I finally got the chance to go and learn about my voice and bring it out to everyone something I can use besides staying at home and yell all the time but reading most of the times is what I love to do at home on my spare time. Anyway, the day came and supposedly was getting ready to leave to San Francisco and I was very excited to learn more about voice studios and the industry and so much more and I got to learn how to speak on mic and learn other things, and it just did not work out. Everything came down to hell with my family and my boyfriend. How the hell am I suppose to live my dreams and ever show off my voice to the world that I can do something because all I get are compliments from people saying I have a really nice voice, "DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT?" No Really. People will tell me that I got to do something and one of my friend would tell me about voice one and I didn't wanna hear her out until last year the end of October that s when I looked about voice one, voice training, voice guides, auditions, studios and I just keep getting excited over nothing and keep thinking to myself that I should keep trying and it can't be too late. So this year is 2013 and last month which was November before thanksgiving I just received an email from voice one again and they gave me new schedules and asked me If I still want to learn more about voice one and all and I remember thinking to myself, "you know what, I'm going for it." I got to do this and I want to do something about my voice and show people what I got to do with my voice and no more letting myself down or letting other people bring me down even if the ones I love are closest to me, THEY DON T NEED TO KNOW...ILL SURPRISE THEM what I can do besides just staying at home taking care other peoples kids and their mess. So yet I want more experiences and to be something. I signed up for so many auditions and it's time I need to start doing something new to make me happy then trying to make everyone else happy. The kind of life I m living are full of pressures and obstacles. The only way to be happy is to face it and not runaway from my fears. I m filled with gratitude with all the things that I have in life whether if its big or small, I m still filled with gratitude and especially for holding onto the knowledge that God has gave me and especially thankful for my voice. Something I can use in the future hopefully soon enough to finally live it up to my dreams and to do something about my voice, something exciting. Where I can finally bring out my true beings of who I really am and use my voice as often.
