My Voice Experience

At age 15, I recorded all night a children' story for a play with handicapped actors. The engineer was a very talented over picky blind teenager. I did not know it was my "Blooper's soap". I still loved it and promised myself that I might do that again one day. Years later, visiting a friend who was a monk in a monastery, I was asked to record the Voice of a sexy spy... Then, nothing until I had a workshop for Voice over for translators and Interpreters. Then, in 2003, when I started my business Apple to Pomme, friends would tell me about auditions for French in various studios in the Bay Area. I got a few voice over jobs, among which an internal video for Cisco about WebEx, in French, recorded in San Francisco. In 2011, a presentation by Maya Leon about voice over for translators convinced me to take classes. I made a narration demo with Elaine Clark. In October 2013, Sarah Kliban sent me a VO Craiglist job for an artist, George Pfau. I got the job. The video is called Zombie in landscape and I describe, in English with a French accent, the artist's impressionist style's paintings. The painter directed me and recorded at his house. Then, I signed up for Voice123 and got my first job at the 4th submission, for HR Smart. I am happily addicted.
