Additional Skills

Throughout my life I have been a performer. I spent my youth making up strange or funny voices to make friends laugh, continuing forward into acting with the same mission. I've played a number of comedic characters in plays where changing up my voice has been important, and directors have explored my flexibility on stage. In the White Devil by John Webster, directed by Royston Coppenger, I used a microphone on stage to change the color of my voice several times over. In Awake and Sing by Clifford Odets, I created the unique voice of a 1930's racketeer Moe Axelrod. I took multiple voice classes including dialects, all of which improved my knowledge of voice and breath. All of these things have changed what was once a wacky hobby into a very marketable talent, and to this day I use it to connect with audiences and people of all demographics.
