Youthful, Character Specialist, Guy Next Door
For commercials or narrations my voice is bright and youthful. I can also do many different voices that would be appropriate for a variety of uses. Gruff, smarmy, high pitched or wacky. My singing voice is a tenor 2 and would be similar to 70's and 80's rock and roll. I can change my voice to sound like many different characters.

My Voice Experience
I started developing my voice back in 2009 when I studied radio broadcasting. I was fascinated with creating radio theater. I would try and replicate dozens of voices for all types of theater pieces. In 2013 I created a home studio and started my own podcast called Code Of The Woods so that I could continue to create and bring the world of radio theater back into peoples headphones. I have also worked in various bands and musical projects throughout the years and am versed in singing and songwriting.
I studied radio and television broadcasting at the Illinois Center for Broadcasting in 2009. I also worked for WLUP and WKQX in Chicago from 2009 to 2010 as a production assistant. I have worked in various Chicago theater and musical productions spanning from 2002 to the present. Currently I am the creator and host of a gaming podcast called Code Of The Woods. We create several radio dramas that are updated weekly.
My Studio Equipment
Hardware includes Scarlett 18i8 USB audio interface with four mic preamps. Sennheiser e835 microphones. Updated PC with Windows 7. Software includes Adobe Audition CS6.
My voice is the most powerful skill I have in my arsenal. I can voice commercials or narrations, then turn around and voice cartoons or videogames. I can also sing. I have the "everyman" voice, which gives me the ability to do so many other voices because my starting point is so neutral. I have done live theater, hosted karaoke, hosted radio and podcast shows, voiced commercials (that are currently on air) voiced web shows, sung in bands...the list goes on. I also produce my own shows.
