My Voice Experience
Once upon a time, there was a little girl whom enjoyed entertaining other kids in the neighbourhood with puppets and all of the voices that came with them. Then better technology entered this young girl's life in the form of a tape recorder. That opened up new ideas for radio theater, making the sounds of the ocean and the telling of jokes. As the years progressed, she read many stories to young children that she babysat in the evenings, often going through a half dozen books before the kids went to bed. And then after highschool there came a bit of training at the William Davis Center for Actor's Study, followed by a course at the Vancouver Film School. Her voice was used for a student's cartoon project where she narrated and performed many voices for a wide range of animals that just happened to be in a New York neighbourhood. And then there was the return to the Vancouver Film School as a guest voice over talent where she wowed the students with her range of crazy characters. Now a young lady, her voice over career side-lined a bit as she took on the role of a crazy young maiden that believed she was a fairy. But after a fun night in a friend's studio recording and mixing her voice over demo reel, she knew that it was time to see where her voice could take her. To be continued.........

My Studio Equipment
I have a laptop with a headset. But I have easy access to a studio which contains: sound mixer, channel mixer, two-way active monitors, system controller, professional subwoofer, drums, guitars, adobe creative suite, studio microphones, pop filters, false walls for extra sound proofing.
I volunteered for a Renaissance Festival for a few years. My tasks included creating a children's stage show with which I created a crazy maiden character that taught children about fairies with a few stories and magic tricks. I was head of their media relations for two years and handled a bunch of interviews on camera, on the radio and in print. I performed an improv show at an interactive scientific center (Telus World of Science in Vancouver, Canada) where I portrayed Queen Elizabeth of York, who then later wandered the center and gazed in amazement at the scientific wonders that the children in the center tried their best to explain to a Queen transported from the early 16th Century. Halloween has always been a perfect time to entertain children and their parents with such characters as witches, ghosts, pirates and wenches.
