Additional Skills

My name is Brian J. Tally, and I’m looking for a position within your Company. Two years ago I received a phone call from my Son’s Football coach, asking me if I would like to volunteer my time in efforts to help our team. The position was being the announcer for our Football team. I would experience the excitement of the game from the booth. I accepted the challenge and became our team’s announcer. Shortly thereafter my phone began to ring from other coaches from around the league asking if I would call their games as well. This volunteer gig, soon turned into a full time weekend job, and I absolutely loved it. I even took it as far as to try out for the SD Padres announcer last fall and did extremely well! Everybody says I have a great voice, and that I should pursue a career in announcing, radio and/or broadcasting. I shrugged it off, laughed and took it in as a compliment and it was a humbling experience. For the next year and up until this point everywhere I go I’m using my “announcer” voice. It became rather silly to say the least, my Wife, and my kids would laugh and say, “Here he goes again with the announcer voice”, anyway I have found something out about myself, that didn’t know existed. I have so much passion for this possible new career it excites me to no end! To date I have called over 40 Pop Warner football games, Numerous Little League Games, as well as a Basketball game. In my spare time I practice doing radio commercials, Public Address Announcing and writing my own advertising scripts. You will not be disappointed in my energy, passion, excitement, motivation and loyalty! I’m reaching out to you for an opportunity to join your team, and follow my dream, as being the next “Voice” of your Organization! I’m a team player that works great with others and I’m able to handle anything that is thrown my way!
