Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I lived in London for 9 years so I heard them all.

British - London, Cockney, Posh, Birmingham, Manchester, Irish, Glasgow, some Cockney rhyming slang.

General European accents: French, Italian, Spanish, German, Greek, Hungarian mostly with British English overtones.

American South of various kinds, also New York, Boston, Massachusetts since I'm from there. Slurry Californian,
Seattle - yes there is a Seattle accent. Very nasal.

I have a good ear and can learn accents easily.

I have never tried impersonations. You have to include character traits for that. I think I have such a funny voice it would be hard to sound like someone else.

My Voice Experience

I don't have any per se.

I have a blog called Gothic Faery Tales where I have posted mp3s of me reading a few of my favorite Gothic tales.

I've been acting since childhood and have had years of voice training for singing on stage.

My Training

I have been acting in plays since childhood. In the 1980s I was involved in a semi-professional Shakespeare company in Seattle, and other illegitimate theaters.

I attended Worcester Art Museum School throughout High School and was accepted there for art studies at the college level. I also studied Art and English lit at Worcester State College.

I dropped out to travel, but finally got my BA from University of Washington in 1990, majoring in English lit and Art.

Most of my drama training was through workshops and classes given by theater companies in Seattle. I also studied classical voice.

My Studio Equipment

No studio except my Mac. I have mastered Garage Band and have a pretty good microphone

Additional Skills

I am from Massachusetts and have traveled extensively in the States, frequently to Indian Reservations for ceremonies.
I am very excited about travel. I can go on for ages about places.
I lived six months in Mexico in 1979, lived in London for 9 years and Seattle. I have walked almost the whole of England, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall and Ireland.

I have been a professional psychic and healer since 1986. I am currently preparing a tarot deck and book for publication that was finished in 2001. This is a received work based on the Holy Grail. I also plan to do videos about the cards for youtube.

I am a writer of Gothic fantasy and obviously resonate with that genre in films and music also. Ive always loved mythology and fairy tales. I have an interest in history and culture, all the arts. Old films. British folk music. Poetry. The occult.

I love dramatic narration. I am thinking of people like Christopher Lee narrating In Search of Dracula. I listen to Christopher Everard as much for his dramatic delivery as his material. A little sensationalism adds spice.

I was in a play in London on 2005 called Babalon in which I played Marjorie Cameron/ Babalon. This was performed at RADA but was meant to be a radio play and was recorded as such. It can be found online at:

Babalon One and Babalon Two. I might be billed as Angela Murrow on there -- but that is a long story.
