My Voice Experience
growing up i was always told i had a great voice. so i got into choir for years- all throughout school. i wanted to/ got recommended/pushed to become a performer, but found i am more than shy in front of an audience. i wanted to do something with my voice, i wanted to be heard. i want to be the missing link that helps make the world understand whatever it is im talking about: selling a product and its story and why they need it. be consise and clear with direction, to get them where they need to go to show them the way just by listening to me..
Then my chronic LOVE for commercial watching on tv happened. seeing these ads/commericals sound so cheesy, i always thought to myself, they should of put more emphasis on this word or that phrase, or their timing on the delivery was too late or unbelievable to what they were trying to sell, and i thought, "eh, i could do better"...and so im out to show the world that if they just tweeked it like this, and sounded more like this, that it could be GREAT and IMPRESSIVE! instead of mediocre material.
i don't have any training on this kind of thing. it just makes sense to me. either you have it right or u don't. i think this is something you have to feel. and if you feel it, your voice will potray it automatically. how you feel, should be the exact same way you sound. thats where coming into character comes into play. and thats the fun part of all of this. getting into what your doing and feeeel what ur saying. the best work comes out of pure emotion. whether it'd be,distraught, perky, informative, interested, skeptical, smart, etc.
and playing the part the best is what matters to you. and thats what i do. i make the emotions heard through my voice.
My Studio Equipment
i do not have knowledge on this particular subject, but! i am a quick learner. throw me in there and i'll figure it out. it doesn't take me long to adapt. i do not have access to a studio either. but, im sure someone knows someone that could help me in that department when the time came for that to be a neccessity.
im willing to practice-if given material- and get it right. im a positive person and am very passive making me a fairly well person to get along with. serious about work when its time to work, but can have fun throught my performance and make it enjoyable for everyone else around me.
