My Voice Experience
"The letter Y to see you Mr. Sajack". Spot: "Wheel of Fortune" Role: Receptionist. My very first V/O job booked when I first moved to New York. Also, after being told the natural rasp in my voice was "really hot right now" by casting directors, and agents, I knew that voice over acting was something I should pursue. Then I booked another "Wheel of Fortune" spot as the same character. My demo is new complete, and I look forward to upcoming auditions.
I have a degree in Advertising from Michigan State University. So, I know how this business works from the production side, as well as the talent side as I worked at an agency, as well as a Commercial recording studio before I began pursuing acting full time. While working there, sometimes the engineers or producers would pull me into the booth and record for them. When I moved to New York, I began studying acting with Allen Savage, and have done a lot of theatre, as well as just finished an indy film. I studied voice over, and did my demo with Edge Studios. It was a great experience where I learned a lot.

Having worked in the advertising business, I know how crazy things can get, and how time is of the essence. I understand the lingo copywriters and producers use. That knowledge helps me when I am in the booth as an artist, because I feel like I have a better understanding of what they are saying, or trying to achieve in the take.
