Warm, friendly, cheerful, wry, sarcastic, grounded
A warm, friendly, conversational voice that can be enhanced with a dash of enthusiasm, compassion, or sarcasm.
A voice brings text to life. Picture your copy spoken by a busy, confident teacher; the sister with the positive advice; or the best friend who can tell it like it is. I love working with your direction and offering creative options to make your project outstanding.
My voice has been described as:
Clear, friendly, grounded, fun, wry, and smart.

My Voice Experience
I have had experience with commercials, story narration, documentary narration, and industrials - and love to get the heart of your story across with a unique and grounded style.
I am as comfortable with medical terminology as I am with comedy, and have worked on projects that encompass different genres such as science fiction, drama, classics, fitness, and health.*
Some of my more recent projects include: reading new, short stories for a literary podcast, narration of a new take on an old fairy tale, and a motivational piece encouraging those who work with the homeless.
I feel lucky to have worked with some innovative writers that have excellent teams, and would be glad to continue the trend!

I have worked and studied with Ed Lewis at Hyperbolic Audio/ Shut Up and Talk in NYC.
I have a B.A. in Theatre with a History minor and have worked in film, television, voice over and theatre in New York for over 10 years.
I am currently studying the Italian language, and hope to offer bilingual voice overs in the future.
My Studio Equipment
Blue Microphones - Yeti
I have a home studio, but can also studio record locally in Portland, OR and work often with the folks over at The Station and Hyperbolic Audio in New York City.
My sound is suited for a wide range of fiction, classics, history, and educational publications.
I am a creative artist with a lot of ideas, but can also take direction very well.
I am a huge bookworm, and enjoy both non-fiction and fiction and devour them accordingly - and in that order.
I have a knowledge of corporate terms as well as medical terms. I have worked both in an office and with doctors.
I am the oldest of three sisters, so girl talk and sound advice happens frequently.
I am passionate about healthy living, and love organic produce and exercise. But it's also important (and certainly fun) to indulge.
Education is one of my passions, and I am always looking for new and juicy information to expand my mind. Lately, my favorite thing has been the "How Stuff Works" podcasts.
