My Voice Experience

I am quite new to the voiceover industry, but I have already learned that my voice is particularly well-suited for IVR/phone system voicing.

In addition, I am a mom with years - YEARS - of experience in enthusiastic and entertaining bedtime reading. Narrating stories for children is one of my favorite types of voiceover work.

I am a classically trained soprano who has both sung and spoken before large, live audiences at venues such as Radio city Music Hall and The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts - including on live, national television. If your voiceover needs include someone who can carry a tune, look no further!

My Training

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work.

I am a classically-trained lyric-soprano with over 30 years of performing experience. I have performed on stages large and small all across the U.S, including Radio City Music Hall and The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. I was also part of a small group invited to sing during holiday events at the home of Vice President Biden. As a member of The American Military Spouses Choir, I advanced to become a semifinalist during Seas 8 of America's Got Talent in 2013. I also participated in recording the choir's first single for Universal Records at Omega Studios in Rockville, MD.

My Studio Equipment

I record in my home studio using a Macbook Pro loaded with Audacity and Garage Band and a CAD-U37 USB Condenser Microphone with pop shield.

Additional Skills

I speak Spanish (Latin- American dialect) nearly-fluently and more than well enough to record pre-exiting text convincingly. I have won competitions for spoken Spanish and have an excellent, native-sounding accent.

I am also able to speak English with a Latin-American Spanish accent.

As a professional social worker, I have both run and staffed various crisis hotlines, including a domestic violence hotline. I have exceptional communication skills that quickly establish rapport with my clients and help them feel confident in my ability to help them.
