I have a very rich, deep, wide-ranging voice, and I can do many, many different kinds of voices: I can be soft and tender, sexy, authoritative, goofy, childish, comic, young, old, female as well as male, cartoon characters, various accents. I have surprised people with the strong quality of my voice. And I'll surprise you! :-)

Also: I have been told over and over again by many, many people that I have a voice that is *perfect* for radio. And I do! :-)

My Voice Experience

Since 2008, I have been doing voice-acting for Shoestring Radio Theatre, a non-profit radio theatre company in San Francisco, CA ( We broadcast on KUSF 90.3FM in San Francisco (, as well as on 111 radio stations across North America, and on the worldwide web.

My Training

I have acting & voice experience from doing Drama in high school (Redwood High School, Larkspur, CA) and junior college (College Of Marin, Kentfield, CA), plus acting & voice training in London, England, through the Royal National Theatre's Summer Acting Programme of 1990.

I've also studied radio announcing, and received a Diploma in Radio Announcing from the Columbia School Of Broadcasting in Santa Rosa, CA, in 1992.

I got back into performing in 2008 after dropping away from it for many years, and, since 2008, I have been doing non-profit voice-acting in radio plays with Shoestring Radio Theatre in San Francisco, CA (

My Studio Equipment

I have a laptop computer (with disc drive and media player), and a headset w/ microphone. :-)

Additional Skills

I LOVE voice-acting, and I have a *rich, varied, wide-ranging voice* that is perfect for radio and voiceover work. I am complimented on a regular basis by many, many people of how strong my voice is, and how I should definitely be on the radio. I have acting & voice experience, as well as the passion for the craft.
