Young, hip, sarcastic, and funny.
I'm naturally an energetic person and it comes through in my voice, which is great for upbeat, high energy commercials. At the same time it's very clear and easy to understand making it the perfect fit for narrations and presentations. I also have the ability to be the sarcastic wise guy who can connect with the youth market.

My Voice Experience
I have experience in the field going back ten years, but it wasn't until the mid '00s that I became heavily involved. I was a professional skateboarder throughout the '90s, and that's what gave me my start in voice work. In 2000 I did my first voice overs for a monthly cartoon about a group of skaters for which I supplied numerous voices. The show ran on a website called Monsterskate.com. In 2006 I began working for NBC doing color commentary for the Dew Tour, which is an action sports series that includes various skateboard disciplines and is still going strong. I'm also busy with live announcing for events all over the world, and I've voiced numerous other skate events as well, both live and post production. This year I did my first non-skate related voice work with some radio spots for Circle K.
It's been a trial by fire. I have a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida, not that it does me much good. I currently work as a staff writer for The Skateboard Mag, which has provided pretty good experience in editing copy.
My Studio Equipment
I have access to Radio Joe's production studio here in Louisville. They are a top notch, full service recording studio.
