I currently volunteer to read the local newspaper for people who are blind or visually-impaired, as part of the West Mersea UK Lions Club's "Talking Courier" project.
I have previously presented awards at a local business awards ceremony and compered a secondary school project awards ceremony in the UK.

I worked for 15+ years in Economic Development with companies of all sizes including blue chip multinationals before becoming a voice-over artist. As a result, I have a keen understanding of business needs and can convey those needs well via my voice.
I have also worked in disability services and education and served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Sri Lanka, where I taught English as a Foreign Language to prospective teachers.
I understand South Asian culture and have previously spoken Sinhala and studied Hindi.
