Two voices for audio description tour of museum
ZD1946265
An audio described tour of museum visitor center. Audio description offers visitors with low- or no-vision directions through a space, description of exhibits, and the ability to hear the exhibits' panel text read aloud. This particular museum is about a specific historical period in American frontier life.

FEE RANGE -- To be determined but based on role and final script length. Currently estimated between $600 - $1200 per role.

We are casting 1 female and 1 male voice talent. FEMALE auditionees please read the female script sample, MALE auditionees, please read the male script sample.

FEMALE ROLE -- The female's part provides general information, directions from point to point, and item/photo descriptions. Her delivery should be neutral, but natural with an easy pace. The tone should be mostly neutral but it is for a "frontier" historic period so can have a bit of a "frontier" type delivery. At this time, the script is not finalized so we do not have an exact word count or length but we anticipate about 60-90 minutes of final recorded material and fee of $900 - $1200 depending on final length.

MALE ROLE -- the male's part will be reading the exhibit's panel text, quotes, and photo captions. He can have a little more "color" and variety in his delivery. At this time, the script is not finalized so we do not have an exact word count or length but we anticipate about 45 - 60 minutes of final recorded material and fee of $600 - $900 depending on final length.

FEMALE NARRATOR

Welcome to the audio described tour of the Visitor Center and Museum. In this segment, we’ll provide a short introduction, after which, please select the two additional segments to learn how to operate the device and for an overview of the Visitor Center and Museum.

You picked up the device at the information desk. If you haven’t done so already, please make your way to the far right end of the desk where you’ll find a slightly lower section with a tactile floor plan of the buildings on its surface.

MALE NARRATOR

“The scenery from Juneau to Skagway was by far the finest on the trip. . . . Hundreds of glaciers on either side and in a great many cases, extending down to the water’s edge and colored from pure white to bottle green; on either side fringed dark green foliage and here and there a stream of water flowing like a silver thread, beautiful cascades, and waterfalls.”
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
