VO:
The Arctic CokeCooler! It’s one of Coca-Cola’s most cutting edge innovations!

Now, with the touch of a button, your customers can turn select Coca-Cola products from liquid… to icy fun… in under five seconds!

Here’s what you need to know:

VO:
The Arctic CokeCooler comes in two separate boxes. One box contains the cooler. The other box contains the Ice-Up platform.

Unpack the boxes carefully. If your machine looks different than the one in this video, that’s ok. They all set up and operate the exact same way.

Attach the Ice-Up platform to the side of the cooler.

Connect the Ice-Up platform power cord into the Arctic CokeCooler.

Then place the unit onto the counter or the optional Arctic CokeCooler stand.

VO:
If a cooler is damaged, please contact your local Coca-Cola representative immediately.

Plug the cooler into a dedicated outlet – a 120 volt 20 amp dedicated circuit.

Then, install the product shelves.

Now you’re ready to load product.

VO:
Stock the cooler with Coca-Cola 20 oz. PET on the top shelf, Sprite 20 oz. PET in the middle and Powerade Mountain Blast 20 oz. PET or Diet Coke 20 oz. PET on the bottom. Each shelf has a unique temperature setting that only works with that particular product. Do not stock the cooler with any other products.

VO:
To optimize performance, the Cooler should only be stocked once a day during off hours, typically third shift or prior to outlet closing, to give the product time to reach the correct temperature.

Be sure to rotate product when filling the machine, moving the colder product in the rear of the machine to the front of the unit.

It takes cold beverages at least 4 hours and warm beverages about 12 hours to chill to the correct temperatures.

VO:
If the door alarm sounds during loading, don’t sweat it. The alarm will turn off once the door is closed.

The alarm is designed to alert your customers and store associates that the door has failed to close properly or has remained open longer than 10 seconds.

VO:
Next, fill the small metal cup on the Ice-Up platform to the halfway point. It has to be half-filled with water in order to operate. Check the machine periodically throughout the day to make sure that the cup stays half-filled with water.

VO:
At the end of each day, use a clean cloth to soak up the water from the Ice-Up platform and then refill the cup the next morning. If your store is open 24/7, remove the water and clean the cup at least once a day during the slowest shift.

VO:
Now that you know how to set up and care for the Arctic CokeCooler, here’s how you use it.
VO:
When the green light is on, reach into the cooler and make your selection.

Slowly tilt the package upside down and then right side up again. The key word here is slowly.

Place it on the stainless steel cup within 30 seconds of taking it out of the cooler.

Press the button.

Then the ice magically form inside the package.

Remove the product, unscrew the cap, and enjoy!

Since the product can continue to form ice and slush after opening, remind consumers to put the cap back on the bottle to prevent any spillage.

VO:
Here are some quick tips on how to handle issues that may come up.

VO:
If the product is NOT forming ice or slush, chances are…

…the red light is on and the product is not at the proper temperature…

…the customer did not tilt the bottle before putting it on the Ice-Up platform…

…the customer started the Ice-Up process more than 30 seconds after taking the bottle out of the cooler…

…or the stainless steel cup on the Ice-Up platform was not half-filled with water.

Correct these problems and the machine should begin operating normally.

VO:
If a customer ices-up a bottle and then decides not to purchase it, don’t worry. Just put that beverage aside so it can thaw, and then place it in a standard cooler.

VO:
In rare instances, you may find a bottle that has frozen solid inside the cooler. When this happens, remove it right away. If the package has not been opened, place it in your standard cooler or cold vault. If the package is permanently deformed, then please discard it.

VO:
And if the machine stops working or shuts down...

…make sure that the unit is plugged into a dedicated circuit, that the ice up platform is plugged into the back of the cooler, that the green light is “on,” that you can feel cold air and that the fans are blowing.

If you’ve checked all these things and the machine is still not operating correctly, please contact your local Coca-Cola representative.

VO:
Once, your Arctic CokeCooler is installed, we recommend you give your associated 2 weeks to become familiar with the cooler’s operation before launching any Arctic Coke promotions.

VO:
Thank you for bringing the Arctic CokeCooler into your store! At Coca-Cola, we are committed to delivering our products in new ways that excite and engage your customers. We will continue to bring additional products into the mix as we take the Arctic CokeCooler experience to the next level. So stay tuned!
