Town Hall Narrator

We're casting VO for an anthem video. This is a buyout, to be used on the company's website, in email, social media and at a company meeting. Tone should be authentic, natural, not forced-- NOT announcer-y. Relaxed, yet inspirational and aspirational. We like voices that are rich, textured, and strong, yet conversational. Nothing that feels too stiff or overpowering.

What should exist that doesn’t?
How can we tackle the world’s hardest problems?
What if we could change the future?
These are the questions our founder Paul G. Allen has always asked.
The questions that drove him as he helped set off the personal computing revolution.
These are the questions that led him to launch Vulcan.
Now at Vulcan, we ask these questions every day as we help Paul tackle the world’s hardest problems, from commercial space travel,
to brain science research ,
artificial intelligence,
and restoring our planet’s health for future generations.
Unlike any other organization, Vulcan discovers and develops smart solutions to tough challenges.
Vulcan brings together the best and brightest. F earless agents of change.

At the Allen Institute and Allen Frontiers Group, we strive to answer some of the biggest questions in science and accelerate research around the world.
We’re mapping the brain.
Making breakthroughs in cell science,
and artificial intelligence.
And supporting research pioneers.

Our work extends beyond labs and across the globe to protect endangered species, restore the health of our oceans, and protect our planet from climate change.
During the height of the deadly ebola outbreak in Africa, we helped end the pandemic by building the safeguards to prevent the local spread of disease – and then we produced an award-winning documentary that sparked international action.
To combat the illegal wildlife trade, protecting iconic species racing toward extinction, we surfaced new data in the largest continent-wide survey of wildlife ever undertaken.
We’re applying machine learning software and satellite imagery to counter illegal fishing and strengthen our oceans
To ensure healthy neighborhoods in our own backyard, we’re asking how we can help disrupt the cycle of homelessness in our community.
Amidst the threat of climate change, we partnered with policymakers to help an innovative, ambitious and forward-thinking American city show what’s possible in climate-friendly vehicles and technologies.

We invest in our physical landscape, too. We’ve won awards for our work to help revitalize entire regions and transform the city of Seattle.

Like Paul, we believe that access to education and the arts can change the trajectory of a person’s life.
That’s why we started the annual Seattle Art Fair.
And why we bring technology and history to life at the Living Computer Museum + Lab.
That’s why we have the Museum of Pop Culture - to celebrate pop culture and help artists of every age showcase their work.
Andy why we’re launching the Upstream Music Fest + Summit.
And as we look ahead to the future, we’re always seeking to learn from the past – sharing that knowledge at the Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum.

To make the biggest impact possible, we invest in markets around the world – investments that are the engine for our work.

We look for challenges on and off our planet, working to explode out of the stratosphere.
We’re developing and investing in the technologies that could open up access to space creating new opportunities in low-earth orbit – maximizing the potential of space to improve life here on Earth.

At Vulcan, we immerse ourselves in the problem.
We ask how we can create solutions through a unique, integrated approach:
Harnessing data to enable action.
Developing and deploying innovate technology to fill gaps.
Building partnerships to drive better policy.
Telling powerful stories to educate the public .
And to inspire action.

So we’re not just Seahawks fans.
We’re filmmakers.
Technologists.
Investors.
Scientists.
Art curators.
Engineers.
Public policy experts.
All working together to make new differences.
Where other see limits, we see opportunities for change.
We see ways to stretch the boundaries of what’s possible.
We see a better world.
And then we ask: What else can we do?
