Which is when the new chapter of our story began.

Our roots were solid deep in the ground,
our bank was prestigious and our values sound.

So this is how the seasons passed
Slowly, surely our strength amassed.

And here’s our Story.
This marked the first year of Employee Banking, with a headcount of 10 and our OP RoRWA at 1%
Our Bank Net Promoter Score was 39,
Skewed towards our physical channels, we had 162 branches, and only 90,000 active on online banking.
In 2013, we introduced Breeze Mobile Banking. Placing us as a frontrunner in the market, we had 17,000 users by the end of the year. We closed the year with 35% of our transactions made on online channels.
In 2014,
• Employee Banking hit its 5 year mark
• “The Service Model” was created with dedicated staff placed as CSMs and CSOs at high transaction volume branches
• We brought back Mortgage in our product suite
• The year ended with the launch of the exclusive WorldMiles Credit Card

2015 brought us in to the top 5 markets in OP with a bank NPS of 55, placing us as one of the top 5 leading banks in the industry. Further strengthening our leadership in the market, we opened the first of its kind Digital Branch; a self-service branch with extensive digital capabilities.
Our product suite was enhanced with the introduction of EMV (chip credit cards), platinum debit card, relaunch of Easy Credit and Hybrid Pricing on Mortgage
We also won the D&I award by Group; highlighting our continued focus on our people, and diversity and inclusion.

Now with the arrival of 2016
Our Tree bears fruit which now can be seen

We started from our very roots and grew

We’re now at an OP [RoRWA] high of 32% compared to 1% in 2009
We are now the Market leaders in EB space in the Banking industry of Pakistan
Efficiency has doubled; we have reduced from 162 branches to 101 branches, but grown deposit by $500 million
Complaints have reduced to a fraction of the rate and acceptable audits have risen from a mere 20% in 2010 to now 80% in 2016
Aggressively growing our digital proposition, we have doubled the number of our Online Banking clients to a net of 200,000 and tripled the Breeze users to almost 95,000 clients [show that a fingerprint can log-in]. We have introduced Retail Workbench, so our clients can bank from a location of their convenience. 75% transactions are now digital.
Not to mention our proud wins back at the Client Center!
A market leader in credit and debit card spend both locally and internationally, we are excited to take the market by storm with the acquisition of our latest alliance; the Standard Chartered Emirates Co-Brand Mandate
