We want to talk to you about a very important topic: our Shared Core Values and what each of us needs to do to enforce and defend them.

Within our organization, more than 1,800 of our senior leaders, managers, and supervisors have attended either a one or two-day session to learn about our Shared Core Values. These classes were held in 26 cities around the world, which should give you some sense of the importance of our Shared Core Values.

The conversation we're going to have today may be your first opportunity to learn and talk about our Shared Core Values; we plan to have more of these conversations, and we look forward to hearing your input and feedback.

In the video you're about to watch, you'll see Dave Dunlap, president of Superior Energy, talking about our Shared Core Values. Something to keep in mind as you watch the video, Mr. Dunlap didn’t go to a third party to write the Shared Core Values for him; he created them himself for every employee in the company to learn.

From the video, Mr. Dunlap would like for us to take away these key points:
• The Shared Core Values reflect who we are as individuals and as a company.
• The Shared Core Values are basic, fundamental beliefs that every leader in the company shares and every leader expects all employees to follow.
• The Shared Core Values are the same wherever you work: throughout the US and throughout the world.
• If we don’t enforce and defend the Shared Core Values, our business will be at risk. Our Shared Core Values are what help us protect our people and succeed in business.
